Product Description:
Watchy is an E-Paper watch with open source hardware and software. It has a barebones design utilizing the PCB as the watch body, allowing it to be worn as-is, or further customized with different 3D printed cases and watch straps. It is a unique timepiece that is also a wearable development platform, allowing users to create their own experience.
Watchy’s E-Paper display delivers a beautiful crisp image clearly visible under bright sunlight, a At 200×200 pixels and monochrome, the display offers a distinctive aesthetic.
Watchy has both WiFi & Bluetooth LE connectivity, allowing it to connect with internet APIs (e.g. Weather, News, Traffic, Maps, Spotify, etc.), as well as Bluetooth LE enabled devices.
With makers in mind, we chose the ESP32 for its large community and support for a wide variety of development options (Arduino, Micropython, ESP-IDF, Zephyr-RTOS, etc.)

Battery life
Watchy wakes up every 60 seconds, checks the accelerometer, real-time clock, and updates the electronic paper display screen with the latest information. Some dials also turn on WiFi to obtain weather data.
When timing only, the battery life of the Watchy should be 5-7 days, while when obtaining data through WiFi, the battery life should be 2-3 days. These numbers can be further optimized to expand (such as sleeping during non working hours, waking up only during exercise/tilting, etc.)

Note:
1. Click Set Wifi in the watch main menu.
2. Connect to the "Watchy Ap" wifi from another device, such as a mobile phone or computer/laptop.
3. Open 192.168.4.1 in your browser. On an iPhon, this page opens on its own when connected to wifi.
4. Click on "Configure WiFi"
5. Enter the SSID and password. (Note: SSID can be pre-filled through the network listed at the top of this screen)
6. Click the "Save" button and wait for Watchy.
Seven. If the connection fails, the watch will display "Setup failed and timed out!" Otherwise, the local IP address and SSID of the connected network are displayed and confirmed.
